"Shalom 5"- New '07-Fabulous Beachfront Views! in Crystal Beach

House Constructed March 2007. This house has amazing beach front views of the Gulf. The beach access is perfect being right across the street. This house survived hurricane Ike! This house always had awesome views but since the storm it is like a beachfront..only two houses on the entire front row and they are at the opposite end of the street.
The property is located off hwy 87 on the Bolivar Peninsula. Only 6
miles from the Galvestion ferry. It is in the desirable community of
Ocean Shores where the beaches are wide and quiet. This house has 4
bedrooms and three bathrooms. All bedrooms have a view of the
beautiful Gulf of Mexico. There is a upper and lower deck. Three
bedrooms are off the upper deck and each one has a private door to
access the deck. The views are wonderful! You can watch the ships go
by and enjoy the surf. You may enjoy walking, shelling, bird
watching or driving (your car or golf cart) on the beach.

This new house is so special. I am sure you will be very
comfortable. Downstairs you will find a BBQ grill and outside shower. When you walk upstairs you will come to the first level with a large partially covered deck with plenty of furniture awaiting you. The deck is shaded in the afternoons. Enter through the living area that has windows affording beach views. The beach house decor is very inviting and fun. There is a built in sitting/sleeping area in the living room underneath the windows. There is a sectional sofa in the living room for your seating comfort. The entertainment center houses a TV, DVD player and VCR with a good collection of family friendly movies. The dining room table has 10 chairs and the breakfast bar has 3 stools. The kitchen is open to the living area and also has a window with that same awesome view of the gulf. On this level there is a bedroom that is kid friendly with very sturdy custom built double double and twin bunk beds accomodating a total of 6 There is another TV, DVD and lots of kid friendly movies in this bedroom. There is a full bathroom on this floor and a washer and dryer. Up stairs you will find three more bedrooms each with private access to the upper
deck which have two glider rockers and bench seating to soak up the
amazing views. There are windows in each bedroom affording those
same incredible views. Each bedroom can be private or accomodate
more according to your needs. The master bedroom has a king bed, and
a futon sleeping up to 4. Both the other bedrooms have a queen bed
and a built in sitting/sleeping bench (8'x 30") in each. so again
you can have privacy or accomodate three in each of these bedrooms.
There is another full bathroom to accomodate the two secondary
upstairs bedrooms. The total sleeping capacity is 17 plus there is a
baby pack and play in the closet. The kitchen is fully stocked to cook all you want. There is a large refrigerator, microwave, beautiful dishes, deep fryer,
blender, toaster, two coffee pots, large pots for crab boiling and
cookbooks and kitchen linens!

This is one of the best areas for fishing with the gulf, jetties and
many bays, Roll Over Pass and piers. Those who enjoy birding will
be delighted. Crystal Beach is a quaint yet fun place to visit with
lots to keep you entertained. The "Big" grocery store is now repaired from Ike damages and reopened.  This house is very close to the bird sanctuary. It is one of the few places you can drive your car on the beach, have a small fire on the beach (away from the dunes) and shoot off fireworks! Of course Galveston with all it has to offer is just a ferry ride away. This area was hit very hard from hurricane Ike but the rebuilding process has begun and it is going to be better than ever when it is finished.

Summer rates 2009 $2300.00 per week $1250.00 weekend. Two night minimum required. Clean sheets and towels provided at no additional cost. There is a non refundable reservation deposit which applies to your rent. A cleaning/damage deposit is also required. It is your responsibility to clean the
house before you leave or pay in advance to have it cleaned after
you vacate (with the exception of the linens..you do not have to wash the linens) Your cleaning/damage deposit will be refunded after you
vacate and the house is inspected. We rent to families and responsible adult groups only.  
Reservations are accepted from and keys are given to adults 25 years
and up only. No prom, spring break, graduation or college groups.
Do not violate the maximum number of people for the house. There are
beds for 17 maximum!! This house is on a septic system and cannot
accomodate more people! Plus there are full time neighbors who will
contact me if you violate this! You will be asked to leave without a
refund and or lose your deposit if there are more than 17 people. If
you are needing to accomodate more people, my Shalom 4 and 5 are
on the same street. Perfect for that family reunion!
