water in the sound is very warm up until mid-October. The ducks visit
the sound in the Fall. The

activities and attractions in Southern Shores Atlantic Coast

Sunning, shelling, fishing, boating, swimming, biking, hiking,
kayaking, crabbing, jet-skiing, para-sailing,
shopping, and golfing. There are many local shops, restaurants, and
golf courses. In the summer, you can watch a live reenactment of the
Lost Colony in Manteo about 45 minutes away. You can also visit the
Wright Brothers Memorial which is about 10 minutes away. Other
activities include visiting the local vineyards, shops or nearby
beaches at the Outer Banks. There are three golf courses 5-15 minutes
of our home--the Pointe, Holly Ridge, and Kilmarlic.
A new park, walking track, playground, and boat launch is within 5
minutes of the home. You can bring your boat or personal watercraft
and dock it right at the home!
Local fruit markets and antique shops are plentiful.

$300 Security Deposit, 90-Day Cancellation Policy with non-
refundable $75.00 fee. Rates are subject to tax. $80 linen fee
includes all towels, kitchen and bed linens. Beds are freshly made
on your arrival. Weekly rentals are Saturday to Saturday. A two-
night minimum stay is required. Monthly rentals are
available at a special rate from Oct-May...call or write for
details. Minimum age for renters to sign lease is 23. Driver's
license photocopy is required.
